Deploy and destroy simulation infrastructure
Validate credentials, run deployment, read logs, and clean up active deployments.
Deployment steps
- Review the canvas and Terraform preview.
- Validate the selected provider credentials.
- Confirm account, subscription, project, region, and resource names.
- Start deployment only when validation passes.
- Watch live logs until the deployment finishes or fails.
- Open Simulation History to review status and outputs.
Destroy steps
- Open Simulation History.
- Find the active deployment.
- Choose Destroy for that deployment.
- Read the destroy logs until cleanup finishes.
- Verify in the cloud provider console if the resources were important or expensive.
Deployment configuration checks
- AWS: verify IAM role, external ID, target region, service permissions, VPC/subnet/security group, quotas, and Cost Explorer if cost validation matters.
- Azure: verify tenant, subscription, client ID, client secret, role assignment, resource group permissions, region, SKU availability, and quota.
- GCP: verify project ID, service-account email, private key, enabled APIs, IAM roles, billing export, region, zone, and quota.
- Terraform: inspect the generated Terraform before apply, then read live logs during apply and destroy.
- State and cleanup: destroy active simulation deployments before deleting the saved design when real resources were created.
