Track cost savings

Use cost savings workflows to review opportunities, validate findings, and track realized savings.

How to use it

  • Open Cost Savings.
  • Refresh optimization data when the page supports it.
  • Review estimated monthly savings, affected resources, and confidence.
  • Validate business impact before stopping, resizing, deleting, or changing a resource.
  • Record completed actions so estimated and actual savings can be compared later.

Good practice

  • Do not delete resources only because they look idle.
  • Check owners, tags, production status, backups, and recent usage.
  • Use Actions History after a change so the team can audit what happened.

If your team still runs into setup issues, empty dashboards, billing delays, callback failures, or alerting problems, continue with troubleshooting before re-running the entire onboarding flow.
