Getting Started

Get started

Create your account, connect a provider, check the first data, and choose the next feature to use.

You do not need to configure everything on day one. Connect one provider, verify the data, and then add the workflows your team needs.

1. Sign in and open the app

  • Create an account or sign in with your existing login.
  • Open the main dashboard after authentication.
  • If your organization uses roles, make sure your account has access to setup pages before adding credentials.

2. Connect one provider

  • For AWS, open Settings > AWS and create the role requested by CloudWatcher.
  • For Azure, open Settings > Azure and add the tenant, subscription, and service-principal details.
  • For GCP, open Settings > GCP and connect a service account or use the assisted setup flow.
  • Wait for the page to show connected status before judging dashboard data.

3. Check the first data

  • Open Dashboard and confirm the selected provider is correct.
  • Pick a region where you know resources exist.
  • Open a service dashboard such as compute, storage, database, or networking.
  • Open Billing Metrics only after billing access or export is configured.
  • Open Alerts to see current findings and alarm state.

4. Choose the next workflow

  • Daily operations: Dashboard, Watchdog, service dashboards, Alerts, and Actions.
  • Cost work: Billing Metrics, Recommendations, Cost Savings, and Email Reports.
  • AI work: AI Observability Setup, Trace Explorer, Cost, Models, Errors, Alerts, Prompts, Playground, Evaluations, Sessions, Users, and Scores.
  • Infrastructure changes: Simulation Builder, Terraform Preview, Deployments, Live Infrastructure, and Resize Migration.

If your team still runs into setup issues, empty dashboards, billing delays, callback failures, or alerting problems, continue with troubleshooting before re-running the entire onboarding flow.
