Plan a resize migration
Create a migration job, choose source and target, track tasks, validate access, and handle cutover safely.
Current scope
- AWS EC2 is the most mature path.
- Azure appears in provider-aware flows where current support allows it.
- Jobs are task-based so operators can see preflight, image, launch, validation, cutover, and source-preservation work.
Job steps
- Open Resize Migration.
- Choose provider and region.
- Select the source server.
- Pick the target size.
- Choose access mode and cutover plan.
- Create the job.
- Track each task and fix blockers before moving to cutover.
Cutover safety
Cutover can affect real users. Confirm target health, traffic routing, backups, DNS, IP assignment, and rollback options before stopping or archiving the source.
